Nearly 2 years after Wrightbus released their prototype model, the world first fuel-cell double-decker bus has now gone into mass production. With London being the first city to start ordering the model, it is estimated that we will see them rolling around England's capital within the next 12 months. Featuring a 322km operating range and the option to extend that to 426km, the fuel-cell bus will only take 7 minutes to fully refuel.

With a further 4 countries placing orders to the Northern Irish based company, it won't be long until buses like these become the norm leaving polluting diesel models well in the past.
