This is very welcome news for the European solar industry. For many years the majority of the European solar industry have been calling for a removal of MIP on Chinese PV modules as it has artificially inflated prices across the sector's value chain. MIP has only served to benefit a very small number of European manufacturers at the cost of the wider industry. If MIP were to be removed completely I think we would see a substantial growth of the PV industry in Europe boosted by decreasing module prices. Lets hope that this recent vote is the start of the process in removing MIP altogether.
