Good to see some good positive news coming from the flow battery world over the past week, especially after the loss of Imergy a month back. What with Vizn making inroads into Sub Saharan Africa with Jabil Inala, Redflow of Australia making a big market splash at home and redT getting their larger system tested/ready to work in anger on the Isle of Gigha in Scotland things are indeed looking up. It's also proof that the contract manufacturer backing all these companies receive is bearing fruit. All here at Hyperion Executive Search are looking forward to hearing more positive news from these and the other players in the flow battery space.
UK energy storage manufacturer RedT has completed testing of a vanadium redox flow battery system to be installed on the Scottish island of Gigha. The six week testing programme of the 75kW/1.68MWh system took place at the Power Networks Development Centre in Cumbernauld.
